Bumble Bees: Forest School

Our Reception Bumble Bees have been so excited this term to begin their Forest School sessions with Mrs Holly.  So far we have been thinking about the weather, exploring the forest school area and listening to all the sounds we can hear in nature.  In our first session, we talked a lot about hedgehogs and then collected leaves to make a giant one for the classroom.  We gave him lots of different names as there were so many suggestions!  This week we had the chance to make a leaf fairy with a little wooden pegs.  Some of them took on characters all of their own and a couple even set up a little ‘fairy cake cafe’.  We can’t wait for our next session now!
