Bumble Bees: Forest School & Christmas Preparation
Reception Bumble Bees have been busy getting into the full swing of Christmas! We’ve been making Christmas decorations in Forest School, making cards and other crafts in the classroom, not to mention getting ready for our very first Nativity.
This week we have been busy getting out and about; firstly, a trip to the Theatre to see Snow Mice which was so exciting.
We would like to say big thank you to Mrs Pru for truly helping us to understand the meaning of Christmas with some role-play in class. We each got to choose a Nativity character and got to dress up and re-enact the story. We hope you like these pictures!
To end the week off magically, we walked along to Christ Church to get the Norland College Carol Service off to a great start by performing 4 or our favourite Nativity songs. It was truly wonderful and the children performed beautifully. It certainly made us all feel warm and Christmassy.
I would also like to thank all the families for their wonderful support before I move on to new pastures. My time at St Andrew’s has been joyous and I will miss everyone very much. Merry Christmas!
Mrs Debbie
