Bumble Bees: Learning About the Past

We were so proud of the Bumble Bees and how well they coped with walking to St Swithin’s church and joining in the Easter Service. We had been practising the songs and actions with Miss Eve, so it was exciting to join in with the rest of the school. We had also worked hard decorating our bonnets and it was lovely to invite so many parents in for our Easter bonnet decorating morning.

We enjoyed good weather for our last Forest School session. This week the children hunted for eggs and made bunny ears.

In class we have enjoyed learning about things from the past. The children danced to some music on a record player and were excited to see the record going round. We also looked at an old telephone and some old wooden toys.
