Bumble Bees: Sports Day & Forest School

Our two recent highlights were our very first Sports Day and a class trip up to Kingswood Forest School. We were so impressed with how well the Bumble Bees coped with these exciting events. The children beautifully embraced Sports Day and it was a pleasure to see them having a go at the different activities and having fun. Thank you to our brilliant parent helpers for walking us to the Royal Crescent and back, and for helping with the races.

The children showed incredible resilience in walking all the way to Kingswood School and back. We were so grateful to Holly for arranging the visit and to our brilliant parent helpers. The children enjoyed exploring the woodland, discovering hidden dens and rope swings, balancing along a very challenging rope, digging in the soil, making butterflies and binoculars, and enjoying a well deserved snack under the canopy.

Both events were a lovely way to celebrate the end of the year as a class, and it has been a joy teaching the Bumble Bees this year.
