Friends Pop-up Swap Shop

Did you know that 350,000 tonnes of used clothing ends up in landfill in the UK every year?

What can we do about it?

St Andrew’s Friends have organised a Pop-up Swap Shop on Thursday May 18th in the School Hall.

The main event runs from  7-9pm. Entry costs £5 (which includes a drink) For the Swap Shop, bring 5 items (clothes, shoes, bags or accessories) in good clean condition to exchange for tokens, that can be swapped for items of your choice. Additional tokens can be purchased.

At 8.30pm there will be a (new to you) Clothes Auction – for the auction bring high-end designer clothing you no longer need.

All proceeds made at the event will go to St Andrews School.

In addition, there is an opportunity to bring any other unwanted clothing items, shoes and bags to the school office at 3.15pm. Bristol Textile Recyclers will collect the clothing, weigh it and the money raised from this will also go to St Andrews.
