Governor News: Farewell and Welcome
Mrs Jayne started in EYFS at St Andrew’s in 2011, becoming a Deputy Head in 2014 and was appointed Head Teacher in 2019. She led us through a great Ofsted inspection last year.
She is wise, hard working and very caring. She takes delight in seeing children, families and staff flourishing, and we will make sure St Andrew’s continues to be a wonderful place where children love to come to school. The St Andrew’s Family give her our thanks and wish her “Fare Well” in the next chapter of her adventures in life.
Welcome to Victoria O’Brien who is an experienced Head Teacher and Educational Leader. She looks back on a long history in education, both in New Zealand and the UK. She has held positions such as Head of Early Years, Head of Lower School, Headmistress, Director of Education and Ofsted Inspector. As a result of the wealth of experience she has gathered over the last two decades, Mrs O’Brien has a clear vision of what a quality education and nurturing school environment looks like.
She is delighted to be joining the team at St Andrews, and many of you will already have met her at the school gate during the handover process. Mrs O’Brien lives in central Bath with her husband Steve and her miniature wire-haired Dachshund.
