Nursery: Christmas and ice-skating

Some children in nursery have listened to a Christmas story and noticed some characters ice-skating. This led the children to think about ice-skating and to share their experiences of this. Some children have never been ice-skating or seen it before, so we watched a short clip of beautiful dancing on ice. The children were amazed at the clip and were very eager to recreate some of the dance moves and have been practising their skills.
