Winter Raffle Total – Drumroll Please! ?

Happy 2022, Friends, and thank you so much for all your enthusiasm and support last year. With your help, we raised a grand total of £1405.44 from our Winter Raffle, cake sale and hot chocolate cafe! What a wonderful result.

Thanks especially to our tireless raffle reps for carrying tickets to school and collecting and delivering purchases – we could not possibly do this without you. And to the children for helping us draw the winners!

This term, please mark your calendars for the following events:

Jan 26th, Wednesday 7.45 p.m.: Friends’ Special Meeting & Social- This meeting will be to bring our charity’s constitution up to date followed by cakes, drinks and hanging out.

January 29th, Saturday: St Andrew’s school website Edit-A-Thon and possible Working Bee (TBC): Get stuck in online or outdoors to refresh our school grounds and our website!

Late January/early February: Friends have been working on sourcing quality books in the main languages spoken art school. We will be very excited to launch these into our refurbished and expanding school library.

February 4th, Friday, 5.30 p.m. onwards in School Hall: Valentine-themed family pot luck supper. Movie for the kids and a paid bar for parents. Bring a dish and share! Voluntary entry donation – details tbc.

February 11th, Friday, after school: Valentine themed Cake Sale and a Hot Chocolate Café from 3.20 in the playground.

March 13th, Sunday, Bath Half Marathon: Have you signed up to run the Bath Half Marathon? Need some cheering supporters and a cool t-shirt? C’mon, you know you do! The Bath Half Marathon is a great opportunity to raise extra funds for school – specifically for the ambitious and transformative OPAL Play Project. Contact Friends and we’ll help you set up a fundraising platform and on the day – we’ll be there to cheer you on!
