Year 1: Fairy Tales & Geography

Year 1 have had a wonderful start to the Spring Term. In English, the children have been immersed in traditional tales, enjoying a  selection of magical fairy tales that have transported them to faraway lands filled with beanstalks, giants, wolves, glass slippers and tall towers.

In Geography, the children have begun learning about their school and the surrounding environment. They started the topic by drawing maps of the school and illustrating their favourite parts. Many children chose to focus on the people who make our school special, filling their drawings with friends and teachers .
