Year 1: Space & Forest School

Year 1 have had a lovely start to our final term! We have been making the most of the sunny weather and have kicked off our learning with an exciting Space theme. The children have been exploring non-fiction books to learn fascinating facts about space and have been inspired by the artist Peter Thorpe. They have created some beautiful artwork, experimenting with colourful abstract backgrounds before adding realistic space-themed drawings in the foreground.

Another highlight was our Forest School session with Miss Holly. The children worked so collaboratively, showing fantastic teamwork as they explored the outdoors and created some lovely nature crafts. A big thank you to Holly for a wonderful Forest School session!
