Year 2: Outdoor Maths

Y2 have enjoyed outdoor maths and putting their measuring knowledge and skills into action. Showing partner talk, questioning and logic about how to measure, whether to use centimetres or a metre measure, Y2 are budding mathematicians!

In the classroom we have moved onto measuring mass and the children have learned about balance scales and measuring in grams and kilograms. We can’t wait for next week when the measuring jugs and thermometers come out as we bring maths alive.
