Year 2: Special Places

This week in Year 2, the children have enjoyed a range of engaging learning across subjects.

In RE, they explored special places and discussed why they are important, linking their ideas to Jigsaw themes of belonging and respect for others’ views.

In English, the focus was “What makes me, me?”, where pupils used descriptive language and adjectives to write about themselves with confidence.

In Maths, the children worked on fractions, learning to identify equal and unequal parts through practical activities and visual models. We are very proud of the thoughtful discussions and enthusiasm shown in all areas of learning this week.
