Year 3: Forest school and pasta skeletons

On Wednesday 17th November, Year 3 had a brilliant afternoon! One half of the class participated in our forest school session; creating wands (and pretending to be a magician like in Leon and the Place Between), making bird feeders, conducting leaf art, and exploring the mud kitchen!

We have loved watching the little robin nibbling on the bird feeders outside of our classroom on a few occasions!

Then we went back inside and learnt about the human skeleton and were challenged to make a skeleton out of pasta. The results were fantastic, and we developed our Scientific vocabulary for the bones of the human body.
