Year 3: Music, Birds & Geography

In Music, we have enjoyed learning and performing the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. We were inspired by the song to create our own flock of Year 3 paper birds and investigated different ways of folding and joining paper.

This term in Geography, we have been learning about the human and physical features of Somerset. We used maps to locate counties and cities within the UK and to find out more about the topography of Somerset. We created our own sketch maps and built some of Somerset’s key landmarks using Lego.

Well done to Year 3 for their lovely performance of the poem October Song at our whole-school Harvest Celebration.
