Year 3: visit to The Roman Baths

Year 3 had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Roman Baths! Our day started with a workshop ‘Understanding Aquae Sulis – Life in a Roman Town’ where we had the chance to explore ancient artefacts, dress up in Roman clothes and make Roman mosaics. We then put on our audio guides and explored the museum and Great Baths. We saw how orange the water was, hypocausts, Sulis Minerva, the Gorgon, curses, coins and much more! All the children were impeccably behaved, and it was a brilliant trip!
