Year 4: A Monk’s Life

Year 4 visited Bath Abbey to find out about the life of a monk during Anglo Saxon times. The children dressed up as a monk and went on a tour around the Abbey. They discovered Anglo Saxon features around Bath Abbey and identified monks in the stained glass windows. The children explored different herbs the monks would have used and made their own medicine bag.
