Year 4: Class assembly and problem-solving

What two weeks it has been for Year 4.  There was lots of rehearsing, singing and practising lines for their class assembly on the Anglo-Saxons. In Science, we’ve looked at what happens to an ice-cube and the state of matter when it experiences temperature change and the class have created friendship bracelets from waste plastic in PSHE where we’re looking at recycling and reusing objects.

In English, the class are really enjoying reading Kensuke’s Kingdom and have been exploring lots of new vocabulary including words such as nonchalantly and capitulated.

In Maths, there has been lots of problem-solving questions to challenge the class and draw on all their previous learning of the 4 operations.
