Year 5 Swimming

The children in Year 5 have had a wonderful time swimming over the past two weeks – it has been challenging and tiring, but certainly worth the effort. They have made excellent progress with a range of swimming strokes, and all of them showed enormous courage and determination to succeed. We are so proud of them!

Mrs Tam was approached by one of the swimming instructors from the leisure centre on Friday evening, who wanted to pass on a special message from all of the staff at the pool:

“The St Andrew’s children that we have been teaching this week are outstanding!” They said they see many schools from the local area, and they wanted to say how exceptional the Year 5 children have been – in their attitude, behaviour and delightful manner with each other and the staff.
