Year 6: Djembe & Shakespeare

Year 6 are now in full scale rehearsals for their upcoming production of Twelfth Night: The Musical! With newly composed songs and some old classics, they have been singing in harmonies, choreographing their own dances and learning their lines by heart in original Shakespearean language. Only a couple of weeks to go…! Meanwhile, they have also been building on their prior experiences on djembe drumming, learning about the history and culture of the instrument and its use in different music genres.
