Year 6: Learning & election results

Year 6 have made an excellent start to the term. We have been busy revisiting important topics in Maths and English, whilst having a Science focus on animals and plants. For this, we studied living organisms and grouped them on observable characteristics before creating more complex classification keys.

An election was also held for this year’s house captains. After hearing some inspiring speeches, the votes were counted and we can announce that our House Captains for 2025-2026 are as follows:

Autumn: Aavani, Astraea and Fatima

Winter: Sara and Alethea

Spring: Orla and Evie

Summer: Otto and Darcey

We looked forward to seeing them lead and contribute to our school community in many ways, whilst upholding our values and setting an excellent example to others. Congratulations, House Captains!
