Bumble Bees: Space

In Reception we have launched our new topic about space. We have been reading the wonderful book by Oliver Jeffers called The way back home, where a little boy sets off in a plane and gets stuck on the moon. The story goes on to explore a friendship between the boy and a little Martian and how they learn to help each other. We have also been talking about planets, and the children have loved exploring a creative activity to decorate their own planet involving painting with marbles!
