Reception

Welcome to our 2021 Reception class!

We are delighted that you have chosen St Andrew’s Church School. As you begin or continue here (if you have been in our Nursery), we want you to feel connected and supported through each step of your child’s learning journey with us.      

We are extremely proud of our ‘St Andrew’s family’. Our strong and caring school community helps to build positive, thriving parent relationships. Our staff provide a fun and happy atmosphere, and we have a wealth of links within our local community as well as with St Swithin’s Church.    

We will make sure that you receive all the relevant information and support to ensure that your child and family have the best possible transition into Reception.   

In the Useful Links and Information section below, you will find the Welcome Handbook which includes all the information you will need before your child starts school. The Reception Transition book is a visual guide for you and your child to familiarise yourselves with the school environment.
