Ladybirds: Chinese New Year

During the last week of last term Ladybirds explored the festival and celebration, Chinese New Year! The children loved discussing and finding out their Chinese zodiacs and read the story of “The Great Race” to understand this Chinese tradition.  A couple of the children also went around other year groups asking different teachers what year they were born to find out their zodiacs too. We were also very lucky to welcome a Nursery parent who came in to talk about Chinese New Year and craft dragons with us to celebrate the year of the dragon!
