Ladybirds: Joy & Pizza Making

In nursery we have been learning more about our school values. This term we learned ‘What is joy’? We learned how people, places, and special items bring us joy. The children drew a picture of what ‘joy’ means to them. We learned how places of worship bring us joy like churches and mosques. Just like Jesus at the last supper, we learned that sharing food together brings us joy.

With the help of Miss Carolina, the children in Ladybirds made pizza. The children rolled out the dough, added the tomato sauce and finished by sprinkling on cheese toppings. Seeing their ‘joyful’ faces eating their delicious pizza and sharing it with their friends was a delight!
