Ladybirds: Learning about Eid al-Fitr

In Nursery we have been learning about the Islamic festival and celebration, Eid al-Fitr. We read the story The Most Exciting Eid to support our learning and have been exploring and discussing the differences between Eid, Christmas and Diwali which we have previously explored.

The children have also been very busy building mosques with construction materials and we were even lucky enough to have a look at real prayer mat and its beautiful design!
