Ladybirds: Sensory Play

We have been having lots of fun in Nursery and enjoying lots of sensory play, discussing different materials and textures. We have been cutting rice noodles, rolling and cutting stems of lavender and have also made our very own fossils using salt dough! Ladybirds thoroughly enjoyed making their salt dough fossils and helping their Nursery grown ups to measure and mix the ingredients. They then chose different animals and carefully pressed different parts of them into the salt dough to print the animals different features including footprints, wings and horns!
