Ladybirds: Textures and painting

This week in Nursery, we have been exploring different textures in our artwork and instead of A4 pieces of paper to paint and draw on we have been using materials and textures such as cling film and baking paper! We cling filmed two tables in Nursery and the children loved painting on them and made comments on their observations including, “It’s a bit bouncy to paint on,” and, “I can see right through it”. Overall, the children told the Nursery grown ups that their favourite material to paint on was cling film! I wonder what other materials we will paint on next time Ladybirds?!
