OPAL donations needed! Nov 2 + 8

Our hopes are that the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) programme will change the way we think and how we play together. To facilitate this project, we will need to buy some new resources, move some things around on the playground and we will also require some loose parts. Loose parts are any materials that can be easily moved, combined, and incorporated into children’s free play. The items we are looking for will enable us to enjoy a wider range of experiences during playtime. This is where we hope you may be able to help!

You can see how much the children love this new way of playing in the Gallery here.

If you have any of the items above that you no longer require, or can find any in local charity shops, we would be most grateful.

We will be holding collection days Tuesday 2nd November and Monday 8th November. However, if you would like to donate anything on another day, please ensure they are left for my attention (Tam Stephen) as we must check all items before distributing them to the school.

Thank you in advance for anything you are able to provide.

Best wishes,
Tam Stephen and the OPAL Team
