Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
St Andrew’s Church School joins the nation in feelings of sadness following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. There will be much time for reflection and it is also a time for us to pay tribute to the life and 70 years of service of The Queen.
Many classes have had time to discuss the news and we had an assembly at the end of the day to give the children chance to share any questions and reflections.
Following her passing, we will be limiting our communications throughout the period of national mourning. This includes pausing social media posts. Essential communication will continue.
