School Council
After much anticipation and preparation from the children, School Council elections were held this week. We are so proud of every child that showed such courage to put themselves forward. The children all demonstrated wonderful qualities and I know the teaching staff were hugely impressed with the presentations children made. We now have 13 School Councillors, and they were each presented with a badge in assembly on Monday. Mrs Tam and Natalie Hartwell (Governor) facilitated the first meeting and the children talked with great maturity about the things they thought would make things even better for all the children at St Andrew’s as well as for the environment. They had many ideas and insights – so watch this space as they start to take action!
We now have children having a voice in many different areas – from the environment to playtimes. Next, Mrs Tam will be looking to recruit Librarians! More information coming soon. Here are your School Councillors!
