St Andrew’s Church School is nominated for the Modeshift Stars National School Travel Awards

MODESHIFT Stars Education BRONZE: Good Travel Plan 2021

We are so honoured to have been nominated for the Modeshift Stars National School Travel Awards by our local authority. We are one of just 78 schools across UK, out of 3,500 schools, to have been recognised! We are really proud of the whole St Andrew’s community for the work they have been doing in the last year, and throughout the pandemic, on sustainable travel.

Our nomination letter said: “The recent pandemic has taught us….that we must all work together to build a more sustainable, healthier and greener future. As a school, you have already demonstrated huge commitment to promoting suMODESHIFT Stars Education BRONZE: Good Travel Plan 2021stainable and active travel.”

On Friday, 2nd July, the Modeshift STARS ‘School of the Local Authority’ and ‘School of the Region’ awards will be held. Winning schools go on to represent their region at the National STARS School Travel Awards which take place on Friday 9th July.

We’ll be tuned in – keep your fingers crossed!
