We’re having FUN!!

St Andrew’s is OPEN during the snow

St Andrew’s was one of only 3 primary schools in BANES to open during the snowy spell on Friday 18th January.

The school opened its doors between 9.30 and 2.30pm and there was a great atmosphere throughout the school. Both children and teachers had loads of fun in the snow, drinking hot chocolate, watching a film and learning the Snowman song “We’re walking in the air”!

Nearly 100 children made it through the snow to school. The teachers also made a huge effort to get there.  Some set off at 6am on foot and one teacher made the journey to school from Taunton!

It CAN be done 🙂
