Year 1: Sports Day and Dots

It’s been a wonderfully busy time in Year 1! We’ve been getting creative with paint, making lots of colourful dot artwork inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The children have also been learning how to improve their work through peer editing – taking inspiration from Austin’s Butterfly. It’s been fantastic to see such thoughtful collaboration and artistic growth.

Alongside our classroom adventures, we’ve enjoyed a packed schedule with Move Up Day, the Big Sing Festival, a silent disco, and an incredibly successful Sports Day. A big well done to all the children for their energy, enthusiasm, and brilliant efforts throughout this exciting time!
