Year 2: Eid and Multi Skills

Year 2 have had great fun at the Multi Skills Festival at Bath University recently. The class were able to experience 4 different activities linked with movement, ball and racquet skills. The children behaved impeccably and represented the school beautifully. They all supported each other and listened attentively to the coaches. We could not have been prouder of them.

In class, the children had an amazing opportunity to listen to Laila talk about Eid and share how she celebrates it with her family. They even got to take a special treat home in celebration. Did you know that there are 99 other names for Allah?

As well as this, in PSHE, the class have been learning about how we all change as we grow older, labelling the parts of a rainforest in Geography and having a final Djembe lesson with the wonderful Lisa.
