Year 2: Fun-filled festivities

Over the last few weeks, the children have been working incredibly hard. Alongside their classroom work, they have retold the Nativity story in front of the school, family and friends. They performed with incredible enthusiasm, strong oracy and musicality. Alongside this, they have been learning about block printing and collaging in DT and have created Christmas cards to bring home. In between all of our festive celebrations, the class have researched and written biographies on Rowland Hill who helped to create the Royal Mail and enable everyone, not just the very rich, to send letters to friends and family.

As teachers, we are so proud of Year 2, they have worked so hard this term and responded to every challenge with positivity. Have a restful break and we look forward to seeing you in 2024!
