Year 2: Singing & Science

What a busy and fun couple of weeks we have had in Year 2. The class have been busily preparing to join other Year 1 and 2 classes from across Bath for a Hear My Voice performance at Hayesfield’s Roper Theatre. The children sang six different songs in different languages accompanied by a live three-piece band. What an incredible experience and their performance was fantastic. The class have also enjoyed two forest school sessions with Holly and they have been linking their learning in Science on living things and their habitats to create bug hotels.

Year 2 have still made time to learn about measure in Maths and have had great fun measuring in cm and m and ordering and comparing measurements. In English, they have been planning and writing the next part of the Egg Box dragon story.
