Year 2: Sports and outdoor adventures

Year 2 have been having great fun over the last couple of weeks getting out and about and soaking up everything this brilliant city has to offer. The class enjoyed a trip to the Forest of Imagination where they not only got to wander through the installation, but also enjoyed an immersive storytelling experience.  The class followed it up this week with a trip to Oldfield School for a brilliant afternoon of sport led by Oldfield students. It was wonderful to watch the children challenging themselves as they competed against children from other schools. To top it all off, on Monday, the class are looking forward to showing off everything they have learnt about Caroline Herschel when they go to the Herschel Museum for the Spectacular Space workshop.
