Year 2: Synagogue Trip

Since returning to school, Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful trip to a synagogue in Bristol where Iris introduced them to the synagogue and all of the  things they might see or experience inside. The class got to open the Ark, draw back the curtains and help Iris remove the Torah. They tried on the kippahs and tasted Iris’s homemade Challah bread.

Back in the classroom, the children have been dissecting broad beans and labelling the different parts in Science and writing vlogs in English about being an explorer. They also finished a successful Enterprise Week with a £90 profit on their Shrinky key rings and cupcakes.
