Year 3: The Magic Box

Inspired by the poem ‘The Magic Box’ by Kit Wright, Year 3 wrote their own poems about what they think makes Christmas special. We designed and made our own Christmas boxes and filled them with some sweet surprises.

In science we have been learning about nutrients found in foods and how these help our bodies. We researched the nutritional value of a Christmas dinner and used food packaging to investigate foods with high sugar and salt content.
