Year 5: Forest School and Map Skills

In Year 5, we had another wonderful time exploring the conservation area with Holly at forest school. We enjoyed whittling, making birds’ nests and creating our own Japanese Hapa Zome artwork with flowers.

We have also been on an exploration of our local area, using our map skills in the process. Along the way, we were inspired by the metopes around The Circus and created our own sculpted metope tablets in class.
