Year 5: Geography

Year 5 are building their geography skills through map work as part of a study of our local area – the city of Bath. We have spent time in class learning about eight points on a compass and how to use four-figure grid references to locate landmarks (some people rose to the challenge of using six-figure references!). We are hoping to do some fieldwork very soon before we learn how to create our own sketch maps and our create our own tourist leaflets.
