Year 5: Planting

Year 5 took advantage of the first spell of sunny weather by planting seeds, both inside and out! We started by germinating seeds in pots (a mix of flowers and vegetables), to be monitored closely in the classroom, and then sewing flowers in the outdoor vegetable patch.

We have been lucky enough to receive some seeds from Bath in Bloom, via Delia, a Y5 parent. We will take photos of our plants growing and keep you updated!

As you can see from the photographs, the children were having a brilliant time – there is so much value to being outdoors and touching the earth!
