Year 5: Netball, Shakespeare and Creative Arts and Design

Year 5 have enjoyed a busy but exciting run-in to the end of the year. At the Forest of Imagination, we explored our relationship with the world we live in through creative imagination – we were treated to a multi-sensory experience, topped of with a magic show! At King Edward High School, we explore different areas of the curriculum such as Art, Design & Technology and Computing. Some of us had the opportunity to use a laser cutter to design and manufacture our own acrylic keyrings. Back in class, we have been mastering our netball skills through competitive games, rehearsing and adapting scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and investigating how pulleys can help to reduce force when lifting a load.
