Year 6: Edge of Nature

Year 6 have been reading poems about ‘the edge of nature’ (by Philip Gross). We have found out the most amazing things about the deep sea, and incorporated this into our own creative responses, which you can see some examples of here…

This week, we are researching and writing information texts about the lesser known tardigrade – also known as the ‘moss piglet’ or ‘water bear’! We have been examining moss under the microscope in search for one, but haven’t had any luck, yet…!
