Year 6: SATs and Ceramics

Year 6 have worked incredibly hard this term during the build-up and the sitting of their SATs. We are all incredibly proud of their achievements, and the manner in which they persevered and supported one another.

Back to learning…! We have been exploring how light refraction causes various illusions in Science. In Art, we studied some of Grayson Perry’s ceramic art and created our own pots on the theme of ‘identity’, using Perry’s style as inspiration. Of course, there was also plenty of time for fun, smiles, play and ice lollies as a reward for the children’s superb efforts!
