You’re invited – Friends AGM!

Hello Friends! The PTA committee and volunteers look forward to another great year of social and fundraising events. Together last year, we raised a total of £4400 for St Andrew’s, paying for multilingual library books, class trips, Christmas parties, Year End ‘Silent’ Discos, new digital cameras for each class (see photo above)…and more!

Please join us for our annual social and AGM on Tuesday, September 27th, 7.30 p.m. in the school’s main hall.

Come hear what headteacher and Friends trustee Mrs Jayne wants us to fund this year and add your own ideas to the mix. According to our charity’s constitution, we’ll be voting in committee roles, including Chair, Secretaries, Treasurer and Trustees. And we’ll say a big thank you and farewell to departing members who’ve contributed so much. But mostly, it’s a great place to meet fellow parents and be a part of our lovely school community.

If you’d like to volunteer, we’re looking for informal Class Reps this year (mostly to help spread the word about events in individual year groups), ad-hoc volunteers for our sales, potlucks, raffles… as well as anyone interested in organising an event or joining our committee.
