STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Week

The week started with Planetarium visits for all children from Nursery to Year 6 to launch our Herschel 200 project. We also had visiting parents to relaunch our ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions. These lunchtime visits encourage children to think about their future ambitions and widen their knowledge through inspirational visitors.

Yesterday we had STEAM Day with children engaging in a wealth of activities in mixed age groups. The morning started with an assembly led by Miss McGuire and a special video message from Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock! She also gifted the school two beautiful books for the library.
