Year 2: Egg Box Dragons

It has been an industrious and creative week in Year 2 with the children designing and building their very own egg box dragons inspired by the book The Adventures of an Egg Box Dragon by Richard Adams. They have shown resilience and used all their problem-solving skills to create their egg box dragons before writing instructions for how to make the dragons using time adverbials to sequence their step-by-step instructions and imperative (bossy) verbs to create clear instructions. The class have included some of their instructions here so you can have a go at creating an egg box dragon at home too.
